Community BBQ

Every year WNCS hosts a BBQ to foster community and build stronger connections among parents, teachers, congregation members, and children. We get lots of delicious food, good conversations, and hard play!

Ping-Pong Tournament

 

Following a tradition in our upper grades, WNCS festivities have expanded to an annual adult-and-alumni ping-pong event, complete with snacks and prizes! Teachers, parents, and friends face off for a few hours of fun in celebration of our wonderful community.

Harvest Festival

Every fall, the school puts on an outdoor festival with rich hands-on activities. We learn candle-making, apple-pressing, pumpkin-carving, rope-making, and much more!

Plant Sale

Students raise seedlings and decorate pots in preparation for our annual plant sale. We work to help our earth and community, and to raise money for a good cause!

School Play

Our 5th-8th grades put on a play or a musical each year for the community, which showcases their amazing personalities, talents, and hard work! Their courage and humor always brings us out of ourselves, reminds us to view life as an adventure, and makes the world a more enjoyable place.

Field Day

In the final week of school, students celebrate the coming summer with relay races and general fun. Team comprised of all ages work together to fill buckets with water, keep eggs from cracking, and show off their sportsmanship for prizes at the end of the day!

Christmas Concert

Our students learn many vocal and instrumental skills, which are on full display at our Christmas Concert! Each class offers a variety of music from around the world that embodies the joy and excitement of the season, with special emphasis on celebrating the Lord's birth.
