Watch what we do!

Singing

Singing cultivates community, releases stress, expands confidence, and exposes people to many different cultures through affection. Most importantly, we sing to the Lord in worship to express joy, humility, and praise!

Watch a rehearsal for Easter Church, helped by a few staff & community members.

Every child can sing – and sing well – if given enough confidence, instruction, and practice! Besides contributing to Sunday church, our students also provide all the music for Monday and Friday whole-school chapels. An older student plays hymns on the piano for everyone to sing, and students of all ages are invited to contribute special preludes and postludes. This is an important way for them to provide a use to their community, take ownership of their worship, and get comfortable in leadership positions. 5th-8th grade students also get opportunities to volunteer for solos in the choir.

Listen to a small group ( 2nd - 5th graders) practice a prelude for chapel: "The Lord is my Light"
