Visual Arts

One of our favorite art forms is drawing and painting. This 8th grader is learning about the Hudson River School of Art, a distinctly American form that focuses on light and space in landscapes.

Students learn many art forms, including textile art. This child created a beautiful woven band for her Mexican sombrero.

Our art teachers work closely with each homeroom teacher to anchor learning from science, social studies, and other subjects using hands-on projects. This 4th grader is using clay to make an elephant, which will infill her study of endangered animals.
