Nestled in a beautiful wooded section of Mitchellville at the western edge of Bowie, our school offers a unique family environment for students from pre-kindergarten to grade 8.
The campus includes a variety of safe and attractive outdoor play areas, as well as classroom spaces that support our art, music, and theater curriculum.
Our faculty members take a personal interest in every child. Small classes meet in multi-grade classrooms, which encourages co-operation and helps students develop a high degree of self-confidence as they learn to think for themselves.
Spiritual and moral principles form the foundation of all that we do, permeating every academic subject and informing teacher-student interactions. The entire curriculum is developed and sustained by principles drawn from the New Christian faith set forth in the religious writings of Emanuel Swedenborg. Religious instruction is at the heart of each day, beginning with morning worship and including routine references to the Lord and His Providence throughout the day.
