WNCS AFTERCARE PROGRAM FOR 2024-2025 SCHOOL YEAR
Aftercare Providers are vetted by the WNCS Principal and School Board and must pass a background check. Our program is designed to provide a safe, relaxing time which gives children opportunity for snack, homework, and play. The aftercare provider is the direct point of contact for parents/guardians using the program, but she/he reports to the school principal.
Definition of Aftercare "Days"
Short Day - Aftercare starts at 2:45 pm; Parents/Guardians pick up child no later than 4 pm
Regular Day - Aftercare starts at 2:45 pm; Parents/Guardians pick up child no later than 6 pm.
Long Day - School out at noon (half day); Aftercare runs 12 pm - 6 pm.
Charges and Fees:
- Short Day - $13/day. Aftercare starts at 2:45 pm; parents/guardians pick up child by 4 pm.
- Regular Day - $23/day. Aftercare starts at 2:45 pm; Child picked up by 6pm.
- Long Day - $38/day. School out at noon (half day); aftercare runs 12 pm - 6 pm.
Discounted Options:
In order to receive a discount, participants must pay for a total number of Short Days, Regular Days and Long Days prior to the start of the month of service.
- Full-time (5-days per week) users receive a 10% discount
- Part-time (fewer than 5-days per week) users receive a 5% discount
Drop-ins are welcome at the standard cost but please give the Aftercare provider 24 hours advance notice, if possible.
Cancellations: If school closes early or for the day for snow or other reasons, Aftercare participants who paid in advance will get credit (or refund) for the closure on the next billing cycle. If a child cannot attend Aftercare due to sickness or vacation or other family decision, fees will not be reimbursed.
Late Pick Up will be charged $1/minute late.
Upon request, the principal will consider other payment options, including multiple child discounts. Let us know if you plan to use the program and please make payment before September starts so that you can take advantage of the discounted rate.
